Two men have been charged after police seized an estimated £350,000 worth of cocaine as part of a wider investigation into organised crime in Coventry.
The arrests came during Operation Target, West Midlands Police’s ongoing programme to tackle serious organised crime, including drugs, firearms, and exploitation.
Officers stopped a car on Ellys Road, recovering a small quantity of suspected cocaine and a sum of cash. Further searches at a nearby property uncovered around 3.5kg of cocaine and over £100,000 in cash.
Albanian Immigrant Florian Fasko and Perlat Prendi have been charged in connection with the investigation. Both men remain in custody.
Police say the case forms part of an ongoing inquiry into large-scale drug supply networks operating in the region. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
