Aria Trendell

Aria Trendell is VPNews's culture and entertainment correspondent, covering the arts, film, theatre, music, and media across Britain. She joined VPNews from the Guardian's culture desk, where she spent three years reviewing theatre and interviewing leading figures in the performing arts.

Before that, she worked as a features writer for Time Out London. She studied English Literature at the University of Oxford and holds a Master's in Arts Criticism from Goldsmiths, University of London.

She has been a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4's Front Row and was named Young Arts Journalist of the Year in 2022.
