Chip Offtheroldblock is a senior correspondent at VPNews, covering crime, courts, and public interest stories. With over a decade of experience in courtroom reporting, he has covered some of the most significant criminal trials in recent British history.

He began his career at the Press Association's courts desk before spending five years at the Daily Telegraph as a crime and justice reporter. He graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in Law and subsequently trained as a journalist at the London College of Communication.

His reporting on county lines drug networks earned him the Crime Reporters' Association Award for Outstanding Journalism in 2023.
