🔴 CHILD SEX PREDATOR SENTENCING DELAYED OVER DANGER TEST

A Sudanese national who snatched a five-year-old girl from the street before sexually assaulting her has seen his sentencing delayed because the probation service failed to assess his "Dangerousness."
Mohammed Abdulraziq, 33, of Winson Green, was due to learn his fate at Birmingham Crown Court on Thursday, 15 January 2026. However, the hearing was adjourned after it emerged that the vital psychiatric and risk reports required to determine if he poses a life-long threat to the public had not been completed.
The Abduction and Assault
The court heard the harrowing details of the incident, which occurred on 30 March 2024. Abdulraziq, who had been consuming beer and smoking the synthetic drug "Mamba," abducted the five-year-old child and took her to his room in a shared house in Winson Green.
The girl was only saved when a friend of her frantic mother looked through a window and witnessed Abdulraziq standing next to the child; both had their shorts pulled down. The door to the room was forced open, and the child was rescued.
Following a trial, Abdulraziq was found guilty of:
Why the Delay?
Under UK sentencing guidelines, if an offender is convicted of specific violent or sexual crimes, the court must consider if they are "dangerous."
Judge Kerry Maylin explained that the probation service had yet to provide the necessary assessment. If Abdulraziq is formally deemed "dangerous," it will trigger a much longer Extended Sentence. This would mean:
A History of Violence
The court was also reminded of Abdulraziq’s "prolific and erratic" history of violence in the years leading up to the attack.
Just five days before the abduction, he targeted a father and son by jumping onto their car bonnet. When confronted, he ripped off a windscreen wiper, used it as a weapon, and bit the son on the arm. Furthermore, in November 2022, he was also involved in a terrifying incident where he threatened a doctor with a kitchen knife.
