THREE WOMEN INTERVIEWED UNDER CAUTION IN MOHAMMAD AL FAYED INVESTIGATION: DEVELOPING UPDATE FROM LONDON POLICE
Three women are being questioned as part of a developing investigation into Mohamed Al Fayed, with further updates expected from London police.

Met detectives continue inquiries into allegations connected to the former Harrods owner as investigators examine new evidence
Detectives investigating allegations linked to the late billionaire businessman Mohamed Al‑Fayed have interviewed three women under caution as part of an ongoing Metropolitan Police inquiry.
Officers confirmed the interviews were carried out earlier this week as detectives continue examining claims connected to the former owner of Harrods, the world-famous department store in Knightsbridge.
Police said the questioning forms part of a wider investigation into allegations relating to Al-Fayed’s conduct during the years he controlled the luxury retailer.
Women Interviewed Under Caution
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that three women were questioned under caution in connection with the inquiry.
Interviewing someone under caution means officers believe the individual may have information relevant to a criminal investigation and that their answers could potentially be used as evidence.
Authorities stressed that the interviews are part of an ongoing evidence-gathering process and that no charges have been announced.
The identities of those questioned have not been released.
Growing Scrutiny of Historical Allegations
The investigation follows a wave of renewed scrutiny surrounding the legacy of Al-Fayed, who died in 2023 aged 94.
Over the past year, former employees and other individuals have made a series of allegations relating to behaviour said to have occurred during his decades in charge of Harrods.
